The Rogue Moon Queen

Chapter 7

The foyer of the house was huge and elegant.  From the blue and black marble floor, to the winding maple staircase, to the high vaulted ceilings.  A beautiful chandelier hung in the center of the ceiling.  Sabrina paused to gawk at it for a minute.  It was unique in that it was made of moonstone.  The grand staircase winding up to the right to the floors above.  Emrys waited for Sabrina to take it all in.  She caught him staring at her, and blushed.  

“It’s beautiful.”, she said almost shyly. Emrys smiled at her and took her hand.  He gave her a brief tour of the first floor, which was the foyer, the kitchen, a dining room, a ball room, a massive library, and a few game and theater rooms.  There was also a courtyard with an indoor heated pool, a sauna, a hot tub, and massage rooms.  The second floor was for the omegas of the pack, the third floor was for offices, the fourth floor was for the beta and gamma and their families, with the fifth floor being for the Alpha and the Luna.  Sabrina could not believe they had an entire floor to themselves.  By the time they got to their room, Sabrina was hoping that Crystal was gone.  She did not want to run into the she-wolf again.  Sabrina could smell Crystal’s scent the closer they got to the room, thankfully though, it wasn’t strong.  Emrys took Sabrina as far as the door.  

“I am sorry to leave you here but I need to go check on my brother and on a few other things.  Feel free to look and wander around.  If you need anything just let someone know.  I will see you later.”  Sabrina nodded.  Emrys turned to go back down the hall and part of Sabrina missed him.  Her wolf whined slightly when Emrys left.  Sabrina turned back to the room he had left her in front of and went inside.  The room was the size of a large apartment.  There was a massive king sized four poster bed on the far side of the wall across from the door.  To the right were two doors.  She walked over and opened one.  It was huge walk-in closet, on the left side were clothes that were all male.  In the middle was small sitting area, and to the right were female clothes.  Sabrina did her best not to feel hurt or to rage.  He had moved his mistress into his room, then tried to act aloof about it.  She moved out of the closet and to the other door.  It was the bathroom.  It was beautiful!   A claw foot tub was next to the walk-in shower.  There was a double vanity, the sinks made out of black marble.  The floor was a grey stone.  Everything was elegant.  

Sabrina walked back to the bed.  Crystal’s scent mixed with Emrys’ and Sabrina decided she need to get out of there before her emotions got the better of her.  She walked to window to see the view.  There was a courtyard leading to an open field, a pool, the gym, and some other buildings.  Sabrina decided a walk would have to do for now until her workout clothes arrived.  She turned to leave when an unknown female walked in.  

“Good afternoon Luna. My name is Natalie.  I am one of the omegas on the cleaning crew for this floor.  The Alpha asked me to come see if you needed or wanted anything.”  Sabrina said nothing for a moment.  The girl was pretty.  Chocolate colored hair with spring green eyes.  

“Thank you, Natalie.  Would you mind terribly helping me get Crystal’s things out of here, airing out the room, and helping me get Crystal’s scent out of here?”, Sabrina asked.  Natalie nodded.  

“Yes Luna. I don’t see any of Crystal’s things in here.  I know she stormed up here and packed her tote.  The Alpha never let her move her things in.”, Natalie informed Sabrina, while looking around the room to double check what she was saying.  

“Then who’s clothes are hanging up in the closet?”, Sabrina asked.  

“Oh! Those are yours Luna.  Alpha Emrys ordered that we have a full closet waiting for you so you would want for nothing while waiting for any of your things to arrive.”, Natalie exclaimed.  Sabrina was taken aback.  

All of those clothes were for me?  When did he order them? she thought to herself.  Natalie walked about the room opening the windows to let the air in.  She then moved to the bed and began to strip it.  Sabrina walked over to help and in a few short minutes the bedding had been changed to fresh black sheets and a red goose down comforter with a black swirling design on it.

“Natalie, do you think you would be able to walk with me.  Hang out and help me figure this place out?  I also want you to introduce me to any pack members we see along the way.  I want to start getting to know my way around and getting to know my new pack.  If you’re not too busy, I mean.”, Sabrina asked.  Natalie’s eyes got wide.  

“I would be honored Luna!  I am never too busy for you either. “, Natalie gushed.  

“Natalie please call me Sabrina.  I need a friend here and I feel like we could be the very best of friends.”, Sabrina smiled.  Natalie beamed and agreed.  She ran over and grabbed Sabrina’s hands.  

“Of course!  Now what do you want to see first?”  

“The backyard and the village.”, Sabrina said thoughtfully.  

“Let’s go then!”, exclaimed Natalie who started pulling Sabrina towards the door.  Sabrina let out a laugh and follow the extremely excited Omega.
