Birthday Cat

*Nadia's POV*

The doorbell rings and I yell out "I'll get it!" Even though I know my mom has no intention of answering the door. Especially because we both know it's Cat. Tomorrow is Friday and I cannot wait!! We only have a half day so we can stay up as late as we want!! "Nadia!" Cat screams as she tackles me. Cat may be smaller than me, but she is crazy strong. I'm 5'6", with the same black hair my mom has, but instead of her green eyes, mine are gray. Weird, right? I assume I get them from my dad. Not that I'd ever know because I've never seen a picture of him before. And Goddess knows I've never met him before. 'It's ok Nadia,' my wolf Nia comforts me. I've known my wolf since I was 10. Which is weird. Most wolves don't present until you're 16 when you shift for the first time. We shifted when we were 13. My mom doesn't know. Only Cat knows that. Nia has beautiful black fur and the most haunting purple eyes. She's a little bigger than Cat's wolf Cora, which is crazy to me. I'm just an Omega. Cat is a Beta. But I'm also bigger than her so maybe that's why. "I want ice cream, and pizza and cookies and scary movies!" Cat squeals. I laugh at my best friend. "I'm already a strep ahead of you!" The door bell rings and she gives me a strange look. I race her to the door and in comes the Pizza guy with the pizza and coke. "Keep the change," I tell him as I hand him the cash. Cat closes the door behind him and runs to the kitchen to grab all of the other snacks. "For my first choice," she declares, "I want to watch 'It'!" I groan. "Awww, come on Cat! Not that one. Anything but that one!" She laughs before giving me an evil smile. "Scared?" She taunts. "Ugh, you know I hate clowns!" I say. I shudder. They're so creepy. "Too late," she sings out. " It's my birthday in, 3 hours!" "Fine," I spit out. "But we're sleeping with all the lights on!" She giggles as we sprawl out on the coach with enough food to feed a football team.
