I never thought the search for someone to fill a position as simple as a nanny would be so difficult. It was easy for people to show up at the office claiming to be qualified and a good fit for the job, but when I asked certain questions, they fell woefully short. I even had potential candidates sent over from several reputable agencies, but they all just felt…wrong. I couldn't explain it, but I knew the person I chose needed to be more than just a nanny.
