I was panting and worst of all, sweaty, by the time I got to the iron doors of the temple. Two attendants stood at attention by them but they did not move. I stared at them, waiting for them to move and finally open the doors, but I guess every one of the inhabitants of this island had a vendetta against me that I did not know of and wanted to make my life miserable.
