Chapter 46 To my left, several yards away from where I stood, materialized a cloaked figure. His white presence was the only source of light against the red stain in this realm. A glow enveloped his whole persona — an aura, or most likely a reflection of purity. It hummed, like a vibration you would feel when electricity was running. A normal mortal would not be able to sense it. As the vibrations reached me, I felt a calmness that repressed my apprehension.
