“What’s the prophecy about?”
The question came after a barrage of other unrelated ones. Well, I said unrelated but it probably was all strung along by the same thought in his head. Laurie had been at it for almost two hours, nonstop. He’d had a lot of questions about what he had seen so far: where he had just been, why didn’t faeries fly, did mermaids exist, how were we able to blend our territories and share them with human civilization, among other things.
Then, I explained that he had just been in the Fae city of Alfheim where Avery was prince of, that it was located in Scotland, that faeries could fly it's just that they don't have wings, and that we created pockets of space and time to exist in the same world as the humans.
