A couple weeks passed without much fanfare in both the human world and the magical world. I constantly visited Locke Village as much as I could during the evenings to check on progress reports and coordinate war preparations with the other Council members. As it turned out, the ‘blueprint’ that Laurie had given to Chief Akū was well underway to finally completing a rough prototype. I have seen that ‘blueprint’ and can therefore conclude that the Orc Chief was a better magician than I was because, for the life of me, I would not have even known how the thing would work when drawn on paper.
