Under the warm Danvers sun, accompanied by very cool winds from the east, I felt as if I had just been dumped in a lake with ice-cold waters. My heart sputtered and struggled to restart causing a very sharp pain in my chest. It was like my entire body had been frozen and that the only thing that was running within me were thoughts of how much of a serious situation I had willingly put myself in. The fact that I had been stupid and careless went unsaid but clearly understood.
