Unlike the last time I traveled to the Dream Realm with Zachary, I awoke the following morning with a full rest and the faint whispers of his melodious laugh still ringing in my ear. Our talk was much more pleasant this time around, mostly because I already knew what to expect of him. More than once he had tried to get me to agree to a bargain that involved us meeting in the flesh.
Perhaps he felt incredibly curious to see who I was in the realm we both made our battleground, but I would be lying if I said that I wasn't as intrigued as he was. The risk, however, was too great to ignore. So, instead of denying him flat out, I told him I would think about it. The only thing I really refused was his request for a ceasefire and me to grant him access to my birthday.
