Chapter 16

After talking to Ty I turn around to see Theo burping Taylar. I smile at them and then I feel a rush of heat go through me and I groan. Theo lays Taylar down in the basinet and comes over to me feeling on my arms and head. 

"Your about to go into heat. The only thing that is going to help you is sleeping with me. I know you don't want that so your going to have to suffer through this alone." He tells me

I moan when he touches me and  he steps back and stiffens. 

"Trent" Theo calls

Trent walks in and looks at me and then gasps at my state. 

"i need to get out can you take care of Taylar? She is going to need to stay in  a ice bath. Get Whitney to help her and you and Lacey take care of the kids" Theo tells him

"Of course. I'll take Taylar to Lacey now and send Whitney down to help her. Don't leave til Whitney gets here. I don't need her collasping" Trent says and walks away

I start panting and start pulling on my clothes and  i stumble. Theo jumps forward and catches me and I moan against him. 

"Stop doing that" Theo says with a strain in his voice

"Can't help it' I pant out

"Theo carry her upstairs and i'll take care of the rest" whitney says walking in

theo nods and scoops me up and runs me upstairs. He places me in the bathroom and walks out and I let out a ear piercing scream. 

Theo's POV

She screams cause I am to far away and I grit my teeth and sigh. I hang my head and he whimpers pull at my heart. I can't leave her and I know it. I pick up my phone and call Tyler. 

"Theo" he says

"Yeah. Look Eli went into heat. Only her mate can fix it and I know I can't. I am going to need to get into a ice bath naked with her so she makes it through this or she will suffer for days." I tell him honestly

"Do it. I know you still love her and I know her and I are never going to stand a chance. Don't say anything to her. I will talk to her when she is over this" He says and hangs up 

I sigh and walk in the bathroom and see Whitney feeling the tub with ice and cold water. 

"Whit go help Trent with the kids. I got this" I tell her

She nods and squeezes Eli's hand and walks out closing the door. I walk over and start tearing her clothes from her body and she moans. I smirk and lift her up and lower her into the tub. She jumps and stiffens and doesn't move. After a minute she stands up and walks in the bathroom closing the door. She comes back a few minutes later wrapped in a towel and goes in the closet. She comes back dressed in her clothes and heads down stairs. I get dressed and go down stairs to see her breast feeding Taylar. I walk over and kiss my daughters head and walk in the kitchen. I come back sitting down a mug of hot tea for Eliana but she doesn't look at me. Once Taylar was full she placed her down in her bouncy seat and walked out the front door. 

Eliana's POV

I transported myself back to the castle and sighed walking in. When I walked in I went to my room to find Tyler standing there looking out the window. 

"El this isn't going to work. We both know it. You love me but your not in love with me and you never will be. You know it and I know it. You need to be with your mate and she needs her father. As much as I wish it was true it is." he says

I let the tears fall cause I know he knows what happened last night. 

"I'm sorry" I whisper

He sighs and comes over in front of me.

"Baby don't ever be sorry. I'm always going to be here for you. I knew it was to much to ask for when we got together. I just want you happy and Taylar happy" he tells me

I sniffle and hug him tight and he holds me just as tight. He kisses the top of my head and I sniffle again. He pulls back and walks out of my room. I clean my face and get ready to walk out the room when I see Tay standing there. She shakes her head at me and turns around and stops. She swings around and slaps me hard and i gasp. 

"How could you?" She spits at me

"get out" I say

"What?" She hisses

"Get out of my home and don't come back" I say calmly

She looks at me shocked and I lose it. 

"Get the f**k out now" I scream and the castle shakes

She jumps in fear and runs out. I sigh and rub my cheek and groan. I walk downstairs to see my mom talking to Ty. 

"What was that about? and why the hell is your cheek so red?" he asks

"I just kicked Taylor out and told her not to come back. She smacked the f**k outta me cause she blames me for us breaking up" I hiss

Mom goes over and gets me some ice for cheek and when it touches my cheek I hiss. 

"Sorry baby but this will help the swelling." She tells me

I look at Ty and he is just standing there stunned. 

"She did what?" he shouts and walks out

I sigh and tell mom i'm going back to Theo's and she hugs and kisses me. I show up and Theo was walking around talking on the phone holding Taylar and I giggle. He spins around and winks at me and I notice Taylar is asleep in his arms. I walk over and take her and place her in her little bouncer and she stays asleep. I plop down face first on the couch and I hear Theo get off the phone. 

"What happened to your face?" He asks

I tense and turn my head to look at him.

"Tay and I got into a argument and she slapped me." I mumble

"What about?" He asks

"Ty broke up with me. She thinks it's my fault and she hit me" I say and a tear slides down my face

"Sweetheart it's not your fault. I'm sure he had his reasons. Don't let her get to you. You know Ty will deal with her" He tells me

I nod and close my eyes. 

"How about we move to the theater room and we can watch a movie and just chill" He offers

I nod but don't move and he chuckles. He takes Taylar to her room and comes back picking me up and carrying me to the theater room. I curl up on the couch and sigh and he slips a movie in. Titanic starts to play and I lay down on the couch. I get comfy and i feel fingers start running through my hair. Before I knew it I was out like a light. 

THE NEXT MORNING

I woke up in Theo's bed and wondered how I got here. I got up and walked downstairs to see Trent playing with Taylar. I smiled and walked over sitting down. 

"Well good morning momma" Trent says

"Morning" I say yawning

"How did you sleep?" Theo asks

"Ok. How did I get in your bed?" I ask

"I carried you there. That mattress is like a cloud and I didn't sleep last night so I thought you should use it. Now I need you to shower and get ready. i need help with something at the office today." He says

I nod and stand and kiss Taylar's head and Trent's cheek. He grins at me and I walk upstairs. I get in the shower and wash quickly. I step out and quickly do my hair and make up. I walk in my closet and pull out the sexiest office outfit I have. I slip in on then my heels. I grab my bag and phone and head down stairs. Once down stairs I sigh feeling the hunger creep up on me. I walk over to Trent and he looks at me. 

"Can I have a taste?" I ask

He nods and leans his head to the side. I lean down and sink my teeth into his neck and he moans. I take two gulps and pull back licking the wound. I stand up and wipe my mouth and sigh. 

"Run and get Naill ready to go. I'm going to need him today" I say

He nods and runs off and comes back dragging naill on a leash.  I grab it and we head to the car. I toss the pest in the back and slide into my seat. Theo drives us there and when we get out he comes over taking Naill from me. We walk inside and everyone just stares wide eyed at him. We take the elevator to the top and walk down the long hall. We come to his office door and his secretary stands but scowls when she sees me and I smirk. she was a vampire so I knew she knew Theo was as well.

"Mr. Gage Good morning. Your meeting was pushed back a hour" She tells him sweetly

"Thank you. El sweetie take Naill to his cage in my office. Then call Cass and tell her to come here right away. I will do a run down with you in ten." He says

"Of course. Oh i'm Eliana by the way. I'm Theo's mate" I say

She frowns and I smirk and smile at her. 

"Nice to meet you" She says with a fake smile

"Likewise. Now I need to call Cass. She will murder me in five if I don't tell her i'm here. Be sure to let her right in no matter what. If you don't then I am not responsible if she removes your head from your shoulders with her teeth" I say and turn and walk in his office

I can hear Theo chuckling at me and ten minutes later he walks in closing the door. He walks around the back of the chair and moves my hair to the side and breathes in my sent. 

"that was mean El. She is harmless. you can break her with the snap of your fingers. Don't be jealous if you want me all you have to do is ask. I'll happily give you what ever you want" He whispers in my ear

He runs his tongue down my neck and I jump when I hear screeching. 

"its Cass" i whisper

theo walks to the door and silently opens it and we peek out. 

"Let me in now" Cass says 

"Sorry she is busy" the woman says

"I'll have your head on a silver platter." Cass yells

 I text Cass saying "NOW" and Cass leaps. She pins the girl to the wall and the girl screams. 

"Cassandra play nice with others now sweetheart" Theo says stepping out

"Just one little bite Thee I won't hurt her much" Cass says

I giggle and Cass smiles at me. 

"Cassandra drop her." I say

"Don't the trash shoot?" She asks smiling

"No honey. On the floor." I say

Cass sighs but drops her and I walk over to the girl bending down.

"Next time listen to me. Next time Cass won't strangle you I will and i won't even have to touch you. Stay away from my mate or they won't find you slutty ass." I hiss at her

She gaps and nods and jumps up going back to her work.

"Play nice El." Theo says

"I always play nice. I like to play nice with my teeth, with my magic, with my strength. I'm always nice" I cry out

Cass hugs me and walks me into the office. When Theo closes the office door I stop dead in my tracks and spin around. 

"So Drake finally got the job done" I say smirking

"What are you talking about?" Cass asks

"Your pregnant" I say

"No i'm not" She says

"Yes Cass you are. I can hear the heartbeat" I tell her

She looks at me shocked and gasps.

"Wait you didn't know?" I ask

"No." She cries

"Cass this is it. You did it." I say smiling

"I have to go. I have to talk to Drake" she says

I nod and she kisses my cheek then Theo's and runs out. 

"I'm happy for her" I say smiling

"it's about time it happened." Theo says 

He stalks towards me and I take a step back. My legs hit the back of the desk and I stop.

"Now need to run" Theo says

"M'not running" I whisper

"El I can hear you heartbeat. Calm down" He whisper

"I'm fine" I whisper

"Does this scare you?" he asks running his fingers down my arm

I shake my head and he bends his head down and I turn my head before he can kiss me. He sighs and I peek up at him. 

"I c-can't" I stutter out

"Why? Baby tell me what's bothering you?" He says softly

"you hurt me. I know I had problems during my pregnancy but you gave up so easily. You left and didn't look back. You got with someone else and introduced her to me just to hurt me" I whisper

Theo stepped back shocked. I grabbed my things and headed out the door. I walked past Jessica and she looked at me. I stumbled and gripped her desk and grabbed my head. 

"Ms. Are you ok?" She asks

I nod and look at her. 

"Can you call his driver to pick me up?" I ask

She nods and makes the call and I go down to the lobby. I finally get back to the house and Trent was there watching tv while Taylar napped. I walked over lifting her up and nodding at him. I walked to the guest bedroom and laid her in the middle of the bed. I changed clothes and crawled in bed with my daughter. I watched her sleep for a while and then I dosed off. I was woke up again by someone moving hair out of my face. I gasped and sat up and seen Theo sitting on the side of the bed. 

"Sorry I didn't mean to wake you" He says

I look over and Taylar was gone. 

"She is downstairs with Whitney." He tells me

I nod and plop back on the bed and sigh. My phone rings and I reach over grabbing it. 

"Hello" I mumble into the phone

I listen for a few minutes and sit straight up.

"What?" i shout into my phone 

I listen some more and groan.

"I'll be there in ten. I want a meeting in the big room right now" I shout

I get up and get dressed and look at a shocked Theo that's watching me. I quickly finish buttoning my shirt. 

"Sorry I forgot you were still here. Watch Taylar I have to go deal with this problem at the office. I should have pumped enough to last you through tonight and tomorrow morning." I say 

He still doesn't move and I sigh and lean over the bed to grab my phone. I feel his eyes on my eyes and I smirk. I walk past him and he grabs my arm and I look at him.

"Be careful and call me" He says 

I smile softly and lean up kissing his chin. I was short so that's all I could reach. I nod and walk out and transport to the office. I walk into my building and to the big room. I walk in and everyone tenses. 

"Do we not have a policy about harassment and it's already illegal." I shout

"Yes ma'am" Everyone says

"Liza sweetie come here" I say

Dylan walks her to me and she was shaking. I reach out and tuck her hair behind her ear. I see a bruise forming on her cheek and sigh. 

"I need you tell me who done it" I whisper to her

She shakes her head and Dylan looks at me with a pained look. 

"Dylan don't let anyone leave" I whisper

I pull Liza out of the room and into the bathroom. I clean her up and look at her. 

"I know your scared but honey I need to know. Tell me sweetheart" I tell her

"Rick" She whispers

I grow pissed and we walk back to the big room. The cops were there and I tell them to wait. I walk over in and hand her over to Dylan. she latches on to arm and I pat her hand.

"I know who it is. I'm giving you the chance to step forward now. If you do not the cops are right outside the room and i will out you in front of everyone. You already going to lose your marriage and kids so step up" I say loudly

Liza flinches and I pat her hand again. No one steps up so I groan. 

"Rick Kneely. You are hereby fired and boys you may come in now" I shout

Rick tried to run but Dylan slams him into the wall. 

"Sir you have to let him go" The cops say

"You about to have to arrest me" Dylan growls

"Why?" A cop asks

"For this" He says and punches Rick in the face twice

"Stop" I shout

"This bastard abused and raped my girlfriend. He deserves more than that." Dylan says

I wrap my arms around him and he relaxes instantly. 

"We didn't see anything" One cop says

Dylan nods stiffly and one cop drags Rick out. 

"Sweetheart I need you to come to the hospital to do a rape kit and to take photos of the bruises" He tells her

"I" She starts and closes her eyes

"I'll bring her" I tell him

He nods and walks out. I wrap my arms around her and she doesn't move. I sigh and walk her to my car. Dylan slides in the back with her and I follow him to the hospital. When we arrive Liza starts freaking out. The nurse leads her away and won't let Dylan or I go back with her. I hear shouts and screaming and I take off down the hall. I bust in the room and see Liza shaking and crying. I run over to her and just hug her. 

"You can't be in here" The nurse snaps

"Shut up" I scream at her

the doctor walks in and looks at the mess in here.

"I am not leaving her. I know her boyfriend can't be in here but if I can keep her calm you can do your job and I can take her home" I say sternly to the doctor

"That is fine" he says

I look at the nurse and glare daring her to open her mouth. 

"Sweetheart I need you to lay down and put your legs up" He tells her

She looks at me and I nod and she slides up on the table. She lays down and looks at me nervously. 

"It will be quick I promise" The doc says

"Ok" Liza whispers and looks at me

"Look at me. Talk to me. So did Dylan finally say the L word?" I ask

"He did" She whispers 

"That's awesome. Did you say it back?" I ask

"Yeah I did. We are moving in together" She says with a faint smile

"Oh I'm so happy for you sweetie." I tell her

"I'm afraid for him to touch me" She says and tears well up in her eyes

"Don't be. he loves you. He wants to protect you. He was going to go to jail for you" I say petting her hair

"I know and that's why I love him" She says

"All done" The doc says

Liza put her legs down and the doctor and I help her sit up.

"Now I need you to disrobe so I can take pictures of the bruises. They will go straight to the judge. No one will see them but me and her." he tells her

She looks at me and I nod and she sighs and nods. She pulls off the gown and tears well up in my eyes. I touch her shoulder and she jumps.

"it's just me. I got you just breathe for me" I tell her

she nods and breathes in deeply and holds her breath for a second and lets it out. the doctor nods and I wrap the gown around her again. 

"Alright we are done. You may go home now" he tells her

I help her up and help her get dressed. I walk her out and Dylan jumps up and goes to touch her and Liza flinches. Dylan sighs but keeps his hands to himself and I drive them to Dylan's house. We get her inside finally and she just looks around. 

"Can I have a bath?" She whispers

"Of course. I'll go start it for you. Why don't you do in the bedroom and get your clothes" Dylan says

We nod and I walk with her. She pulls out some panties and a baggie one shoulder long sleeve shirt and some shorts. We walk in the bathroom and Dylan jumps in a bathbomb for her. 

"Do you want help?" He asks

She shakes her head fast and I see the hurt in his eyes. 

"we are going to try something. Dylan wait outside the door" I tell him

he nods and walks out closing the door. I look at her and help her peel her clothes off. She steps in the tub and sinks down. Once she was covered by the water I sighed. 

"Dylan come in" I say

he walks in and looks at us. 

"What are you doing?" Liza whispers

"Dylan come here" I tell him

He walks over and kneels beside me. 

"Liza give him your hand" I say

She reaches up slowly and he grabs her hand gently and she flinches but soon relaxes. 

"Now what?" He asks

"Talk to her. I'm going to wash her hair. Just make small talk" i tell him

"So I was thinking we could paint the inside of the house. You know something to give us a new start" Dylan says

Liza looks at me and I give her a encouraging smile. 

"I think maroon would look good in the living room" She says

"that sounds great. we can even donate all the furniture and start over." He says

"We can call orphanges and see if they need it" she says 

"That's a great idea baby" He says

I notice he was rubbing up and down her arm and I smiled. I finished washing and conditioning her hair and it was my turn to sigh. 

"Liza I need you to stand." I tell her

"no" she says

"Yes. Dylan is going to wash you. I'm not doing this to hurt you but it's to help you sweetheart. He will be on his best behavior and not get mad or I will hit him with the plunger." I tell her

 she nods and stands and I hear Dylan take in a sharp breath and i eye him. He soaps up her loofah and starts washing her. He does it slowly and she relaxes. Once she was soaped up he took a cup and rinsed her. He pulled the plug and grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her.   I went to find her some clothes so she could get dressed and so they could be alone together. Once they were settled I left a head back to the house to see how my daughter was doing and to see how everyone else was doing. when I entered the house it was quiet and i didn't understand why. I walked to my room to change clothes and found Theo sitting there waiting. I sighed and kicked off my shoes and walked over falling face first on the bed. 

"about earlier i'm sorry if I pushed you to far.  I was only teasing. I know how the bod still affects you and your body is still sensitive from your heat." I hear him say

i reach over and grab his hand and squeeze it. I pull him down so he is laying beside me and I flip my head to look at him.

"It does still affect me more than it should. Some days I wish I could make it stop and then  I see you with Taylar or how you still do the little things you dob without realizing your are doing it." I say

"Like what?" He asks

"Like you coming home from work and still kissing the to of my head. You still run my bath every night. When we eat in the dining room your hand always end up on my thigh. when we are sitting in the living room with people your hand always ends up on the back of the couch and you end up playing with my hair" i tell him

"Really?" He asks

"Yes. I guess it's what your use to so you just do it" I say

He hums and I start giggling.

"What's so funny?" He asks

 "Look where your hand is" I tell him

He looks down to see he is tracing patterns on my naked back.

"I guess your right" He says and pushes in harder

I moan and he sucks in a breath. He pulls his hand away and rolls me over stripping me down to my panties and pulls a t shirt over my head. he tucks me in and tells me to take a nap and he will check on Taylar.
