Unexpected Guest

Jamie's face turned red as she saw who's at the front door. Shocked and surprised, she stood still, her eyes questioning him… until she found her voice to speak.
"Brandon? What the heck are you doing here?". Whispered Jamie. " We need to talk. I think there's a misunderstanding here." Said Brandon. Jamie's mom came to see who their visitor was. "Oh! Hi.. I didn't know my daughter was expecting someone. We're actually having dinner right now so come join us". Mom's face is grinning and it's pissing Jamie more. " Thank you Mam, I would love to have dinner with you ofcourse." Brandon excitedly accepted the invitation.
Jamie on the other hand cannot believe everything happening in front of her. She has lots of suitors but she never wants them to visit her at home, moreso having dinner with her whole family. But what can she do? She saw them talking and laughing with what or whom already? "Are they close now?" She asked herself. She went back to the table to eat but there was Brandon. In front of her is her favorite cheesy, meaty, saucy and hot Lasagna and him...
Brandon is not like the typical tall,dark and handsome boy. He looks like this Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun. "Perfect nose, kissable lips, and his eyes..there's something in it that when I look at them I get lost. Then he smiles.. at me!"... " Jamie, eat your food and don't just stare at your friend" Yells Jamie's mom. She felt like she was struck by lightning. How can my mother do that to me? I wish I could just disappear. She told herself. Jamie ate quietly, not sure if she enjoyed her food but she definitely wanted to get out of that room now.. as soon as possible.
After eating she asked Brandon to come with her.
"So what's the deal?What are you upto? Is it that important that you needed to come here? Jamie asks brandon.
"I'm here to formally ask your permission to court you. I don't want us just to be on text messages. I think you got it all wrong, I'm not just playing around. I like you and I really want to know you better and you to know me." But how can we do that you're not even allowing me to approach you at school." Do you even know how I felt when I saw you get hurt before? Said Brandon. Hearing Brandons confession, she bite her tongue, stopping herself to tell Brandon she likes him too… " So you really like me? But my friend Angel said you spoke to her and she finds you sweet. Is that how you like me and still be sweet to other girls?
she questioned Brandon. "What? I'm not romantically related to her or have any desires for her. I Just thought I want to get close to her to know you more.. That's all. I'm sorry if she thinks the other way. Brandon explained.
They looked in each other's eyes as if they're looking at their souls. "It's getting late. I think I need to go". Brandon said as he snapped in that moment he felt like forever. " Please tell your Mom I said Thanks and she makes the best Lasagna. Goodnight Jamie, I'll see you at school tomorrow." And he left.
That night Jamie could not sleep. She keeps on thinking and talking to herself. Normally she would just call her friend Angel but how can she do it now?
"What would I do? How will I explain this to Angel? Well, He is just courting me.. It's not as if I already said Yes! But is he worth it? To be my first boyfriend? And that means no more stolen glances to Zach, no more motor rides with Grey… I mean I'm happy with what I have now…
All these thoughts in her head as she closes her eyes and finally drifts to sleep. As she thinks lastly, What will it gonna be like tomorrow?
