"My mum said she felt very safe and comfortable. That's not normal, and I wanted him to know that I appreciated it" I say before another thought popped into my head. "Did you insist to him that he calls me 'Miss Kendrick' or 'Miss Amelia'?"
Rhodes nods his head as he turns the corner. "Yes. It's more professional"
"But he doesn't really work for me" I point out.
"He works for me so he works for you babe" Rhodes replies quickly. A small grin creeps onto my face.
"Well if that's so, then as one of his bosses I would like to give him extended Christmas leave" I turn to watch Rhodes's reaction, his calm demeanour breaks as he chuckles lightly.
"Oh yeah?" He asks with a laugh, one of his eyebrows raised.
"Yes. And I'd like to give him a pay rise, or a bonus. Or both" I say with faux
