I nod my head, moving my leg to nudge his knee ever so slightly. "So, we're okay?" I ask with a slight smile and a sense of hope. Rhodes nods his head, taking my hand in his and gently pulling me towards him. I manage to manoeuvre myself into a comfortable position sitting on his lap, the hem of the shirt lifting up ever so slightly.
"We're good baby" he tells me with a slight grin. I slide my arms around his neck and sit on his lap, looking into the face of the man who has become so important to me in such a short amount of time.
