My thoughts are interrupted as he leans over and places his lips on mine. I have an overwhelming urge to just melt into him, so I do. My lips part and he wastes no time slipping his tongue into my mouth. We aren't close enough, there's no such thing as close enough when it comes to him. I find myself climbing into his lap, my knees resting on either side of his hips as my hands slide into his hair, tugging on the curls to bring him closer to me. Rhodes's hands grip onto my waist as he holds me steady before they slide upwards to the small of my back, pulling my body flush against his chest. I can feel his heart thumping in his chest, or maybe that's mine, or maybe our hearts have synched up to beat together.
"Skip your tests, you don't need a degree. Come to New York" Rhodes says gruffly
