Chapter 41
Ulysses' POV
Chloe and I were temporarily left here at home. I don't want to make it difficult for her to go hiking because of her leg injury. Even though I regret it, I would rather stay here than see her struggling to climb the mountain. Only when she is fully healed will we go hiking again.
We are currently in the kitchen, busy preparing the ingredients she will need to bake the pastries she wants to make.
"Is this enough?" I showed her the batter I was mixing.
She peered into the bowl and took the spatula from me. She stirred and raised the spatula, "Yes, that's enough." She answered with a smile and went back to what she was doing.
I watched her enjoy what she was doing. "You seem to be enjoying baking. Even cooking."
