Chloe and Ares were at the dining table. He is now doing well and is going back to school.
"Ares," Chloe began after placing bread, ham, eggs and hotdogs on the plate in front of him. "I'll be gone for a few days." she poured milk first before looking at him.
"Why?" Ares's face instantly showed sadness.
Chloe sat down next to the boy, "I have to go home to my family to see them." She also put food on her plate.
"Can I come with you, Mama?"
Chloe looked at the boy, "I'll only be gone for a few days, Ares." She caressed the boy's hair. "And you can't come because you have school and your Papa will not agree either."
Ares took Chloe's hand, "But I want to come with you!?" he held it tightly.
"I'm sorry Ares, it's not possible. I promise I'll be back." she smiles at him.
