Ares' glee halted after hearing his father's reply.
"But Dad," his voice sounded in sorrow.
"It's dangerous outside," Ulysses reasoned out.
Chloe felt sorry for Ares' disheartened appearance. "Ulysses," she tries to convince him. "I want to see Ares' school. You have some people who can come with us. Why can't I go?"
"You are my wife."
"And he is your son." Chloe immediately interjected because she knew what the man wanted to convey. "Surely they know that. So what's the difference?" She looked at him intently.
When Ulysses didn't speak back, Chloe stood up and called her son. "Let's go, Ares, you need to study for that exam." She extended her hand to him.
