Clyde walked into the room, his eyes glancing around until they landed on Emma in a corner. She was staring at him fiercely and he sighed. "Are you still pissed? I was trying to make sure you're ok. I don't think you're weak. If you were, you wouldn't have been able to handle everything that has been thrown into your life for the past few weeks. Yet, here you are doing just fine while still trying to figure out more about your life," he said calmly. Emma was too stunned to speak. She never thought that Clyde would be so comforting. He was always eager to dismiss her worries and barely acknowledged whenever he was at fault. But he was apologizing to her. She cleared her throat before speaking. "I just want you to acknowledge me.
