-IRIS- The mood in the pack was heavy and somber. Tessa had practically taken up residence in the pack hospital, tending to the injured day and night. With her daughter still away with her grandparents, it had turned into a blessing in disguise. No one knew yet whether any of our people had been infected with the Blight. Tessa explained that if the bite wasn’t deep and the wound was treated quickly with Syren’s Tear, the contagion could sometimes be stopped, but it took days to know for sure. And there were at least three wolves she wasn’t confident about. Even with our best efforts to keep things normal, the kids at school felt the shift.
