After Shui Bingrou and the others left, only An Dong Ni and his two friends remained in the classroom. Si Tu Hui noticed that his friend had been staring blankly at the direction Shui Bingrou had left, so he asked, "Hey, is that why you were spacing out this morning? Because of her?"
An Dong Ni didn’t answer and walked out of the classroom.
"Haha... I was right, wasn’t I? I thought she’d be tough to handle. She’s actually immune to your charm..." Si Tu Hui shouted.
"Let’s go, what are you lingering around for? I still don’t know what possessed me to be friends with you. Not only are you flirtatious and narcissistic, but you’re also so talkative," Ouyang Jun said and walked outside.
"Jun, you’re really hurting my feelings. How can you call my virtues flaws?" Si Tu Hui said while walking.
Shui Bingrou left the classroom and headed toward the cafeteria. However, as she walked, she found herself on a small path. Oh no, I’m lost! What did that classmate say again? Ugh, there’s no one around to ask for directions. I should have gone with Xiao Xiaoxuan and the others, Shui Bingrou thought, feeling frustrated as she circled in place. After a while, she saw five girls walking toward her. She thought of asking for directions, but as they got closer, she could sense their unfriendly intentions. She quickly turned and started walking in the opposite direction. But the five girls seemed to have caught on to her plan and quickened their pace to block her path. Hidden in the shadows, the bodyguards were ready to protect Shui Bingrou, but she stopped them with a look.
"Are you Shui Bingrou, the new transfer student?" asked one of the girls, dressed provocatively.
"Yes, is there something you need, classmate?" Shui Bingrou asked softly.
"She’s so beautiful, how can anyone be this gorgeous?" a petite girl murmured.
A taller girl poked the mesmerized girl and, realizing the leader was glaring at her, quickly flattered, "She’s nothing compared to Lan Jie."
The girl who had spoken first, the one dressed provocatively, sneered. "What’s going on? Hmph, let me ask you something—do you know that An Dong Ni is Lan Jie’s crush? Why are you getting close to him? Are you doing this on purpose?"
"An Dong Ni? But I don’t have anything to do with him. Who is Lan Jie?" Shui Bingrou asked, confused.
"I’m the Lan Jie they’re talking about, Lin Yulan, the school’s flower. You better listen carefully, stay away from An Dong Ni, or don’t blame me for being rude. Playing hard to get is not something everyone can pull off. If you keep trying to seduce him, watch out, I might get someone to scar your face," one of the girls, who was exceptionally beautiful but now wore a malicious expression, hissed. Her beauty was overshadowed by the hate in her face—indeed, jealousy makes women the ugliest.
"Remember, this is a warning. If this happens again, it won’t be just a warning. If you’re short on men, I can find plenty to satisfy you. Hmph, let’s go, sisters," the school flower said arrogantly as she walked away.
"Make sure your eyes are wide open. The last person you want to offend is Lan Jie," the tall girl added.
So she’s the school flower, huh? I thought she was supposed to be the symbol of gentleness, beauty, and kindness. This is a huge contrast! Besides, what’s so great about An Dong Ni? With all his admirers, he’s probably a playboy. Jue is the best, though. Shui Bingrou almost forgot that Jue was even more of an extraordinary figure, with admirers everywhere. But in his eyes, he could only see her.
"Remember, don’t reveal yourself unless it’s absolutely necessary. Don’t expose my identity. I will personally explain today’s incident to Jue," Shui Bingrou spoke to the air, and the only response was the sound of the wind. With that, the drama came to an end. Shui Bingrou finally found her way out and headed toward the cafeteria.
A Joke:
Late at night, Teacher Wang finished grading the last test paper and tiredly turned on the radio to relax with some music. The DJ’s voice came on: "Class 3 of Grade 12 from XX Middle School dedicates this song to their beloved Teacher Wang, thanking him for the countless practice questions he’s given them over the years (especially this year), which provided them with invaluable practice opportunities..." Hearing this, Teacher Wang’s eyes filled with tears, and a smile of comfort appeared on his exhausted face. The DJ continued: "... Now let’s listen to this song, Li Huimin's 'You Won't Have a Good Ending'..." Teacher Wang rolled his eyes, foamed at the mouth, and collapsed to the floor...
