Campus Turmoil

The morning was clear and bright. At the entrance of the largest prestigious university in City S, numerous luxurious cars were dropping students off. To be able to attend this school, one must either be wealthy or academically excellent. Many students who have money still cannot get in, as the school requires not only wealth but also outstanding grades. Of course, every year, fifty spots are given for free to excellent students from poor families, with living stipends. This morning, Sophia Rivers had managed to convince Alexander King to cancel the plan of sending her to school in the private car. She brought her own lunch and walked to school. As she reached the school gate, she noticed a crowd of girls gathered, seemingly waiting for someone. Sophia turned to a kind-hearted girl and asked, "Excuse me, what are you all doing?" "You better get ready, Andrew Ni is about to arrive. Come on, let's squeeze to the front," the girl said, pulling Sophia toward the crowd. "Who is Andrew Ni? And…," Sophia asked, puzzled. "Are you from this planet? You don’t know who Andrew Ni is?" one of the girls sneered jealously at Sophia, noticing her beauty. "Andrew Ni is the most handsome guy in our school. Ah, if I could be his lover for just one day, I'd die happily!" another girl said, holding her hands to her heart in an exaggerated manner. Hearing this, Sophia thought to herself, If he's like that, I bet he's a player. Ugh... whatever. My Alexander is the best. More girls joined the discussion, and to avoid confrontation, Sophia could only keep nodding and said, "Mm." She quickly walked into the school. "Phew… that was close. It felt like I’d committed a serious crime for not knowing who Andrew Ni was. Thankfully, I dodged that." After Sophia walked past, a loud scream of excitement erupted at the school gate. "Ah! Andrew Ni is here!" "Where? Where? Oh my god, Andrew Ni is so handsome!" "Who do you think you are calling him your Andrew Ni? Look at yourself first in the mirror, hmph!" "Oh my gosh, I need to fix my makeup!" Suddenly, a brand-new BMW, fresh off the market, sped past, leaving a trail of adoring fans behind. As Sophia walked along the campus path, a car sped past and knocked into her lunch box. She heard a series of loud bangs. "Oh no, this lunch was made by Alexander himself!" Sophia bent down to pick it up when a pair of hands reached out to help. "Are you okay?" a gentle voice asked from above. Sophia looked up to find a tall, handsome man standing in front of her. He had the kind of physique that could rival Apollo himself, thick and well-shaped eyebrows, narrow and deep-set eyes, long lashes, and every feature on his face was sculpted like it was made by a chisel, exuding a strong masculine aura. Faced with such a handsome man, Sophia didn’t react much. After all, Alexander King was like a god to her. This man clearly wasn’t as handsome as Alexander. As she looked up, Andrew Ni's eyes flashed with surprise. She looked like an angel who had fallen from the heavens. Her long, shiny black hair, clear, creek-like eyes, smooth fair skin, and petite, slender figure made her seem like a little lamb that needed a man’s protection and care. Andrew Ni’s gaze slowly moved, eventually landing on her slightly parted lips. Her full, delicate lips were as tempting as dewdrops on rose petals, and they made his heart beat faster, something that hadn't happened in twenty years. When did such an angelic person appear at school? Why didn’t he know? Just now, for some reason, he had gotten out of the car to look at her. Normally, he would just ignore such attention-seeking girls, but this sweet girl was different. Her eyes were the only ones that didn’t look at him with infatuation, and for some reason, he felt a little disappointed. Was his charm fading? "I’m fine," her soft, angelic voice said. Sophia picked up the lunch box and started to leave. "Sorry about your lunch. Let me get someone to make another one for you, okay?" Andrew Ni asked. "No need, thank you," Sophia said as she turned and left. "...?" Seeing her hurry away, Andrew Ni wanted to say something else but paused. He watched her graceful figure, which seemed like it could fly away with the wind at any moment. He stood there, entranced, until his group of admirers surrounded him, pulling him back to reality. He quickly got into his car and left.
