Thoughts swirling, I chuckled and set down my glass. "Lola, I need to go see someone."
My words were met with Lola's curious gaze. "Who is it? Found someone you like already?"
I didn't mince words, my eyes locked on that figure. "Jaden."
Lola's eyes widened in surprise. "What? He's here too?"
"He was the heartthrob of our school back then. He was like a legend." I stood up, steadying myself on the table. "Who else could it be but Mr. Mcclain himself?"
"Don't worry, I'm here to talk business." I brushed aside a stray strand of hair and walked over just as he finished talking to a businessman. I hesitated for a moment, pondering how to greet him, before finally settling on a familiar approach.
