WHEN NAT LEARNED THAT they had guests, he didn’t want to linger in the ice-cream shop anymore but insisted on going back home at once.
Matt didn’t argue with him. He needed to be there as well and shield Nora from any possible attacks, so they rushed back home.
Now, Matt glanced at Nora and noticed the shock on her face. Matt had already fretted, but instantly he became furious. His eyes narrowed, and his nostrils flared. Matt asked in a stern voice, “Now, who upset Nora and why? What did you say to her?”
