Elsewhere the fatal destiny loomed over us. Before the men pounced on Liv to murder her as the law demanded, I pushed her away and transformed to defend her, I wasn't going to allow it.
It was four men against me, they would be no problem with my mind working at full speed, they would not kill her or my son, I was going to get them to safety, and if I killed them the secret would go with them to the grave, because if there was one thing I was sure of it was that Evan would never harm me or my luna.
The battle between the beasts had begun, they were throwing claws and bites among them; the four of them were trying to reach her, who was hurt and defenseless, it was obvious that I was not going to allow it, so there was no choice… They had to kill me too.
