I've been restless since I left the cabin leaving the two girls this morning. I know they are not a danger, but rather two creatures in need of support, one that I am willing to give them.
Last night I did not leave her side for a single moment, seeing her there in that wounded bed destroyed my walls and weakened my defenses, awakening in me things that I did not feel with anyone else; I wondered how being so small she was so brave, in a battle where she had everything to lose, she faced powerful enemies that surpassed her in strength and size.
