My alpha didn't look annoyed, but cautious, he was looking everywhere as if he was looking for something or someone.
"Me too Selene" he answered taking me by the arm and sticking me to his body, like when they are going to tell you a secret: "Selene, the wolf council is eliminating packs, and I think they are watching us."
Evan had said it in a whisper in my ear, he was very close to me, as if we were a couple, his right arm around my waist and his left taking my face. I knew Evan very well, we were in danger, and we were only pretending to be something we were not. I played along and wrapped my arms around his neck.
