Just before midnight, I heard our usual knocks. My eyes were wide awake since I couldn't bring myself to fall asleep after I ran up here. Piper isn't here, again and I believe she's spending the night with Grizz. Those two seem to be spending more and more time together but Grizz doesn't want to admit he's falling for her too. I also don't think they have crossed that line yet else she would have told me.
I let out a sigh as I pushed off the mattress. At least her life wasn't as complicated as mine and her only problem was seducing Grizz. When I unlocked the door, Torin stepped inside and locked it behind him after giving the guard on duty a stern warning to guard the door with his life.
