Ryder's POV
I woke up the next morning to get ready for school but found that I couldn't breath properly. My body temperature was beyond hot. My skin was literally burning hot as I was also sweating profoundly.
Each time i try to breath, i find the air getting hitched in my lung in a painful twist and causing a grunt to erupt through my mouth at each intake of breath.
I threw off the sheet I was tucked into and tried to get back up but couldn't, my limps feel just as weak and my head was starting to spin really bad.
I think am rapidly coming down with some nasty disease.
I tried to force myself back on my feet but got hit by an invincible wave, forcing me back against the bed and I groan out in pain.
I heard Simon footsteps approaching my bedroom before I could call out
