Chapter 22
Ivy’s POV.
The rest of the pack were getting ready to go for the hut and I was also enlisted to join. I was elated at first because Marrow was the one leading the team, but afterward, everything changed. I was just getting dressed for the patrol when Nisa entered my room.
“My lady.” She walked in with the first part of the laundry and had them dropped in the wardrobe.
“How are you, Nisa? Aren’t you going for the patrol?”
She smiled at me. ”You meant the hunt?”
“I don’t know, whatever, Are you going to be among those heading for the hunt?” I asked, looking so concerned because I saw Nisa not just as a personal maid to me but also as a sister. She, on the other hand, was drawing so close to me and I never wanted to take that for granted.
“I would be staying behind.” She
