We stayed put in the cave for over an hour, and at this time, the whole place became calm, unlike when the Night Haven wolves attacked. It broke me to see the dead bodies lined up on the road and at the gates of Silver Haven. The citadel was filled with blood, the blood of innocent and guilty men which had mixed and flowed down the streets. From all I observed, the Night Haven pack faced the most casualties and it looked like the battle had been won already. I stumbled on Asher and the rest of the men from afar as they stood on their numbers.
