CHAPTER SIXTEEN Saidah tapped the bridge of her nose. Her pre-adolescent boys, Mavuto and Nepthali were sitting together across from her with their heads down. Their rucksacks were under their seats. They were refusing to make eye contact with her. And for good reason. She was furious. To be summoned to the headmaster’s office in the middle of the day for her ill-behaved children was a total embarrassment.
