CHAPTER SEVENTY-THREE Gravity took centerstage as Naidoo’s body collapsed to the floor. The gun and the card she had been holding both fell along with her. Printzlau removed his black shroud and stood over her. Blood was gushing out of the bullet wound. He kicked her feet, but she wasn’t moving. He bent over and touched her neck to check for a pulse. She was nothing but a memory at this point. “I believe you have something that belongs to me.” He grabbed the card and admired it for a moment. He kissed it before sliding it into his pocket. He placed the suppressed pistol on the floor and reached for her arms. He dragged Naidoo into the next room, leaving a blood trail. He ran to the kitchen and began opening all of the cabinets and the pantry. He did the same for the icebox. Printzlau r
