CHAPTER SIXTY-FOUR The end of another day was close at hand. Celetia stood on her balcony in her robe watching the reddish sun disappear over the horizon. It was only a matter of minutes until she would be bidding Michael adieu once more. It was unbelievable how strong her feelings were for him even after such a long passage of time. Aside from their trip to Spiez, she couldn’t remember any other specific events from their time together aside from her heartbreak. “This really is God’s country, isn’t it?” She turned around to see him standing behind her. Even after all of the chaos he had lived through the night before, he still didn’t look any worse for wear. This man was the ultimate survivor.
