CHAPTER FORTY-SIX The Land Cruiser rumbled over the gravelly road. Mav was finally nearing his destination in Roodeport. He couldn’t understand Onnie’s aversion to moving the girls to this peaceful suburb. It wasn’t like he was asking her to relocate to some awful, backcountry suburb like Randfortein. All of her creature comforts were approximately a half-hour away. She was letting her stubbornness and irritation with him cloud her better judgment. He veered onto a paved road.
