CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE The family room was an absolute disaster. There was blood and debris in every corner. Even the flat-screen television was destroyed. Mav scanned the room for his rucksack. Thankfully, it remained where he had left it—on the floor in front of the love seat. He dropped the Magnum on the love seat and flung the rucksack over his right shoulder. His left arm was a dangling mess. The bullet that went through his shoulder must have hit a nerve because the pain was bordering on unbearable.
