CHAPTER THIRTY It was official. Hélène Darroze was living up to her reputation as a world class chef. The food at the Chef’s Table inside of the Connaught Hotel was divine. The Cornish lobster especially. Chief Harold Sundy, the current CMG of MI-6, cringed at the thought of what the bill would be once this pricey affair was concluded. This was one of the most exclusive restaurants in central London. Every table was spoken for as he glanced around the room. The servers were presentable in a classic style. Sundy had zoned out for much of the evening. He sat beside his wife Margaret and her aristocratic associates, the Tolliver’s and the Chivington’s. This posh crowd was unspeakably irritating to a government man like Sundy. He was quite certain that none of the four had ever worked a day
