CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE The whirring caused by the vibrating cell phone against the nightstand’s wooden surface shook Naidoo from her slumber. She opened her eyes and reached for her phone to stop it by clicking one of the volume buttons. The phone was still ringing but now without the sound. The call was coming from a restricted number. This had to be the British calling her again, although it was curious why they would call her so early in the morning. There was only a two-hour difference between London and Johannesburg.
