AMARA'S POV I trudged towards Arcadia school gate, ignoring the questioning look from the other students. After what happened at the dance, I was in the spotlight for the worst things ever. I was starting to think that I had the worst luck on the entire earth. A black SUV honked, then stopped right beside me, causing me to halt abruptly in my tracks. I didn't know who it was, but I bet it was one of the students I'd gotten on her nerves with Louis and Rylan's fight. A man dressed in a smart three piece suit stepped down from the car, and opened the back door. Apprehension, and another emotion I didn't have a name pulled at my nerves, as I caught a glimpse of Jaylin. “Would you like to ride to school with me?” She questioned.
