Ophelia’s PoV
I- I don’t know how to react to this situation. Even though I have experienced and remembered my past life, losing someone is never an easy thing. But for Luna, even though she lost someone dear to her, I don’t see a bit of sadness or grief in her expression.
The Empire knights brutally killed Juliet and Gunther Talan by order of the emperor. Their body parts were scattered around the living room while displaying their heads on the dining table. Zaya manages to reattach them together before the funeral.
The neighbor who came to the funeral keeps apologizing for not being able to do anything when the couple was attacked. Luna smiles away and tells them it’s alright.
“Ophelia-“ I didn’t expect to see my parents here.
“Mom, dad- you made it. Luna is over there.” Caroli
