When I woke up this morning, I was shocked to see Caroline and Gregory in front of my dorm door. After getting myself ready for the day, I decided to have breakfast with them and asked what are they doing here.
“Honey, did you know the Gentry went to see us and asked for your hand in marriage?” I chuckled.
“They did? Even after I turn down their son?” Gregory was surprised.
“You did what, Ophelia? Well, that explains the reason why the Gentry seems anxious about this marriage. Luckily we decline as well. We told them that your future doesn’t include being a wife early.” Oh- thank the goddess that they decline as well.
