Luna smiled at Gregory before taking a seat on one of the armchairs. Gregory waits for the servants to leave the study before he talks to Luna about his daughter’s future.
“I’m not going to lie, but I was shocked that you asked my daughter to marry you. Yes, I know the whole story about you being the reincarnation of the ancient empress, but can you make my daughter happy with your current situation? Luna, you’re a knight without a proper employer. How do you expect to feed my daughter or my future grandchildren if you two decide to adopt? Will you force my daughter, born with a golden spoon, to spend her life in some remote village?
