Making friends

After Robert dropped her in front of the elite school, Catherine was taken to the principal's office by the representative. All her formalities were already done by Thomas. So she just needed to collect her ID and class routine.

"I am Monica, the class representative. Let me walk you to your class," a cute chubby girl with glasses greeted Catherine as soon as she came out of the principal's office.

"Thank you. Are we in the same class?" Catherine asked on their way to class.

"Same class but different section. You are in the elite section, and I am in the charity section," Monica shrugged her shoulders playfully.

"I never heard of these kinds of sections before," Catherine frowned in confusion.

"Your section is full of rich kids or trust fund kids whose parents donate a lot of money to this school, whereas we are studying here on scholarships. It's simple like that," Monica grinned, but Catherine could feel her helplessness as her smile never reached her eyes.

"Doesn't that mean you are from the brilliant section and I am going to be in the section of useless dumbs?" Catherine said with a wink, making Monica laugh.

"This is the first time I have seen such an easy-going elite student," Monica said with a genuine smile this time.

"Because I am also a charity case, I guess. Let's be friends," Catherine extended her hand for a shake, which was accepted within a second.

"Here's your class; I will see you during lunch break, bye," Monica left Catherine in a hurry as if she was scared to stay in front of the elite section.

Catherine walked inside the spacious classroom filled with students. She could feel curious eyes on her, but she chose to ignore that feeling and went to the last bench and sat down there.

"Hey, are you the new girl? Which family are you from?" one blonde girl came up to Catherine and stood in front of her, crossing her arms.

"Yes, I am new here. And I don't want to share my family name for some reason," Catherine gave her an apologetic smile.

"Oh, that means you are an illegitimate child from one of the 4 big families. Huh! I knew it. You didn't look like you belonged here," the blonde scoffed and left.

Catherine couldn't help but laugh at her remarks inwardly. This classroom surely belongs to elites, she thought. Soon the classes started, and Catherine got busy with her lessons. The time soon passed by, and it was already her last class when she got a glimpse of a redhead girl passing near the window. That girl looked very lonely to Catherine, but she shook that thought away and concentrated on her class.

After school, Catherine went back to her new home with Robert, who left after dropping her.

"Good afternoon, Miss Mendez. I have prepared your dinner; it's in the kitchen. Mr. Mendez won't be home until late at night, so he asked you to have your dinner and go to bed," Codi greeted her at the door and left.

Catherine went back to her room, changed into a dress, and came downstairs to have dinner.

After dinner, she did her homework and went to bed early because she was exhausted from all her classes at school.

At midnight......

Catherine woke up from her sleep due to thirst. She searched for water on her nightstand only to find the glass empty. With a sigh, she left the bed to grab a glass of water from the kitchen. She was only wearing a tank top and a pair of cotton shorts. With sleepy eyes, she went to the kitchen, opened the fridge, and gulped down a bottle of water.

After closing the fridge, she was about to walk back to her room when she heard some strange noise coming from the other end of the hall. She had never visited any part of this mansion because of Thomas's instructions on her first day. So her curiosity was piqued when she heard that strange noise.

It felt like her legs had a mind of their own as they started walking towards the origin of the noises. She stopped in front of a slightly ajar door.

"Oh, honey, mmmh Archer, aaahh harder please," came a whining voice of a female, followed by the sound of body slapping and grunting. Catherine's heart skipped a beat after realizing what was going on inside the room. She turned on her heels to leave but was lost in her curious mind.

'Let's only peek a little, and then I would go back to my room,' she thought as she peeked from the crack of the door. And the scene inside made her freeze in her place.

Inside the room was a fully naked woman sitting on top of Archer's big mahogany study table with her back facing Catherine. Her legs were wide open while Archer was standing in front of her, pumping inside her vigorously.
