I tense in shock. Did I hear him right?
"Emma, did you hear..."
"I did hear it." My voice is more steady than my heart and body. Is that reason enough? Definitely.
"Can we go in now?" he takes my hand in his leading me to the lobby of the exclusive hotel.
"Hello sir," the receptionist greets Liam in an exaggerated sweet voice that makes me roll my eyes. I don't miss the disgusted look she gives me. Liam is oblivious to everything as he leads me to the elevator.
As soon as the elevator close, Liam pulls me closer closing the gap between us immediately. I comply willingly not able to fight him anymore. I can't fight the attraction between us and I just wish it never ends.
The ding of the elevator reminds us that we have reached our destination. Liam quickly leads me out of the elevator to stop at the last room in the hallway. He opens the door ushering me inside the beautiful spacious room.
"Oh my God, this room is large." I didn't mean to say that but I can't help but wonder how only this sitting room is larger than my one apartment room.
"Make yourself at home." Liam smiles at me.
"What do you want Emma? Are you hungry? We can order pizza or room service? Geez, I don't know how this works." Liam rubs the back of his neck shyly.
I can't remember the last time I had a good meal. I have not eaten since the day began. I have to save up for rent.
"Forget the pizza. I want to feed you with a good meal. Would you want that?" he asks.
"Liam, you don't need to." I murmur.
"I want to and I doubt you had time to eat with how busy you were." he gazes at me knowingly.
"I will call room service." Liam excuses himself to call room service. I remain staring at the beautiful white walls and modern chocolate furniture. Something catches my attention and then I realise it is his guitar.
I walk to it where it lays on the sofa. I brush my hands on the strings making little pitches of sound. Then initials catch my attention. They are neatly drawn on the wooden part of the guitar.
LC
"It was given to me by my mother." His voice startles me causing me to jump a little.
"It is beautiful." I murmur looking at him.
"I was sixteen. I was so happy when I received it. It will always remain one of my favourite possession." he smiles sadly.
"Where is your mom?" I ask curiously.
"Toronto," he replies picking up the guitar. I am glad he at least has his parents and he loves them so much.
"Do you miss her?" I ask as he plays with the strings.
"Yeah." he nods.
"Is it okay that I want to sing for you?" he stares into my eyes. I feel like I am melting inside with the way his eyes are searching mine.
"It depends. Will I like it?" I ask stupidly.
"It all depends on you. Take a seat." I settle in the sofa as he sits on its arm.
He plays with the strings all the time staring at me. I just hope I am not living a dream because if I am, I don't want to wake up ever.
Is it crazy that I can't get you out of my mind?
I feel like I am already lost in deep.
I want to look at your beautiful face
I want to kiss your small lips
I am falling for this girl.
Am crazy, and I don't care.
I want you to smile forever.
I want to you to be here when I wake up.
Am crazy, and I don't care.
I want you to be mine.
Because my heart is yours.
Am crazy, and I don't care.
I am lost in his eyes and his voice is a turn on. Don't get me started on those lyrics, I don't care too. I don't care that I am going to wake up and I have a thousand errands to run. I want Liam, I can't even explain how much I want him.
I bravely stand up and straddle his lap. He seems to be surprised by my act. I am shocked too but hell, I want him. Liam mutters a s**t before placing the guitar down. We stare in each other's eyes speaking volumes at each other before I press my lips against his.
He is more than welcome when he pulls me closer to his body to deepen the kiss. We are lost into each other to hear a knock on the door.
"s**t," I mutter pulling back.
"Room service, f**k. Can we skip eating? I want to have you for supper." he attacks my neck.
"No, I am hungry." I pull back arranging my shirt. Liam sighs before adjusting his pants and walking to the door. I smile stupidly at what just happened. For a virgin, I have way too much courage.
"This is too much for two." Liam walks over to me with the food on a tray. He is right. The food could feed us for three days.
I am very hungry now that the food is in front of my eyes.
"Do you like it? If you don..."
"No, I love it. It is amazing Liam." I dig into this feast. I can't remember the last time I ate steak this expensive. I have almost eaten the whole food and Liam is still on his first plate.
"I have eaten almost the whole food and you are not even finished with your first." I remark shyly.
"It is fine. If you want I can order for more." he chuckles. He knows I can't take anymore.
"Thanks Liam." I mutter.
"Emma you better not be thanking me for food. I can do anything for you and I mean it." His last statement makes me melt with something I can't put my finger at.
"You are such a good guy." I compliments.
"You are an angel Emma. I just wish I met you earlier."
"I am no angel." I retort. I am far from an angel and I just wish I could tell Liam that.
"Yes you are. I can't imagine you don't even know a lot of things." I c**k a brow at his words.
"I do know things." I gaze at him. He smiles.
"Of course you do. Can we do something else? What do you want to do?" Liam asks.
I don't understand why he always has to ask for my opinion. I am not good at things and more so fun.
"I don't know. What do you want to do?" I ask him.
Liam searches my eyes before he stands up. He takes out his phone which looks expensive. He plays that song, the one he was playing at the bar. My ears perk up in realization.
"Midnight summer," I blurt in excitement.
"I am glad you remember its title. I was afraid you weren't paying attention." he smirks as he walks to me pulling me up to my feet. How could I not pay attention? His voice is my third best addiction from his kisses and cologne.
"It is a beautiful song." I compliment as he clears the sitting room.
"You want to know what is beautiful?" he cups my face.
"You. You are beautiful Emma." his words shoot right to my heart. I haven't gotten used to that compliment of his.
"Liam," I breathe.
"I meant what I said. I am falling for you Emma." he whispers. It is like my heart is on fire. I can't believe what I am hearing. He can't fall for me. He barely knows me.
"Call me crazy Emma. I know what I am feeling. Feel my heart." he brings my hand to his chest.
It is beating against his chest mirroring my own heart beat.
"I sound crazy, don't I?" he asks.
I want to say yes but I know he is right. I can feel it. Is that how love feels?
"Maybe we should dance before the song ends." I ignore his question. If he is falling for me, then this is going to end in complications. If I am falling too, this is going to end up in shreds
