I took my seat on the couch, and it just happened to be right next to where Scott was sitting. Needy had gone back to being interested in the rest of the men around us and the meeting about to take place.
“I assume no one has an issue with my daughter, Kennedy, and her friend, Rory, joining us today?" Scott asked, almost like he was daring someone to object.
The room was silent. He nodded and stared forward.
