Chapter 56 - View Point
Salem’s POV The commotion on the dance floor made everyone stop and watch. The notorious allusive Alpha Ace was looking more deadly than I had ever seen. Everyone who is close, not close, and even the other alphas submit to him in fear for their lives. No one wants to be seen as challenging him. However, the one person not showing any signs of fear is the closest to him, and it seems like his rage is directed at her and her dance partner. I watch as Claudette’s dance partner can’t get away from her fast enough. Fearing for his life, he flees the dance floor. He doesn’t stop there as he briskly walks toward the house as if to leave the event altogether. I try not to laugh at this poor man’s action, but we have all heard the rumors of Alpha Ace.
