Claudette’s POV
Before I can get in the car, a loud, ominous growl ripped through the forest and shook the trees like an earthquake. My eyes shoot in the direction from which the sound came from. My heart is now filled full of hope.
Ace is staring at us, ready to murder someone. The look in his eyes is so lethal that every bone in my body shivered with fear for what was about to happen.
My kidnappers all look like they are about to piss their pants.
Everything happened so fast I didn’t have time to move. Ace shifted right in front of us. My breath hitches at the magical sight of his wolf; he is a gigantic midnight black wolf. I have never seen a wolf so big before.
