Looking back at them would just hurt me so even when I really want to look at Pierce who’s talking to Lexi on the street, I restrained myself. My chest is clenching again because of the pain but I won’t let this pain drive me nuts.
I was about to go to my office when someone called my name. When I looked at the person who called me, my mood instantly lightened.
