CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO Marvia pulled the Lincoln into the driveway at the Kleiner Mansion. They got out and went to the front door. There was a hand-lettered sign in the doorway. Closed today. The Kleiner Mansion will be open for regular hours tomorrow. Lindsey knocked on the door. After a while he saw two faces through the glass—Tyrone Plum’s and Jayjay Smith’s. Jayjay opened the door. She grinned at Lindsey, started a move toward him, then stopped when she saw Marvia. “You did it,” she said. “You got the car back. You and Tyrone and—you must be Marvia.” The two women shook hands.
