Max and Kay returned to New Braunfels that night and cuddled in each others" arms as they were soon fast asleep after the considerable drive home. They were invited back to the Schneiders" spacious home in Round Rock where they were introduced to a large number of people they would most likely never meet again. They all reminisced over the accomplishments of Dennis Schneider, and lamented the great loss to the community caused by his untimely death. The continued commiseration proved to be emotionally exhausting over a couple of hours" time, and the Bridgmans were glad to be relieved of it when the Schneider clan finally called it a night.
