|03| Say what?  Transferring from one school to another is not even new to me. It became my hobby to transfer schools simply because the school environment is too toxic for me to handle. It all started when I was high school. It was definitely the start of my low key rebellion years where I cut class and go to the mall instead of attending school. There's no difference when I transferred to another school. They are all bullies and I just simply don't care about them. They have the school admin under their palms anyway so it's not worth the chaos.  But I always get the best revenge that I wanted.  It's been two weeks since I moved in and I can say that I adjusted to my new environment. It's not easy, but do I have any other choice? None.  Today is another first day for me. What I hate about the school is that, it has a uniform. Luckily, the uniform seems decent enough for me. Light brown checkered skirt, white long sleeves, cream colored vest with the school's crest, a navy blue coat with the school's crest, and a necktie with the same color as the coat. I admit, the uniform is kind of cute because I have a thing for checkered.  My wavy waist length hair was ponytailed in a half pony having my see through bangs pop off. There are no rules about the shoes tho so I wore my net socks and my favorite ankle boots.  I opted for a nude lipstick and a thin layer of powder to grace my face. A layer of mascara made my gray eyes on point.  Now, I'm ready for school.  I grabbed my new Chanel leather backpack that was sent by my Mom with my school supplies in it. Luckily, she has a great taste in fashion.  As per my Dad's instruction, I have my own chauffeur service that will send and pick me up from school. As much as I hate it, I don't have a choice. I don't want to ride a subway or something.  "Good morning Miss Finn," Carl, the chauffeur, greets me as I raised my eyebrow as I saw the service my father was talking about.  Oh, it's no biggie. It's just a white limousine.  "Is it necessary to ride this thing?" I asked. "Certainly, Miss." I sighed in defeat and took a seat inside the limo.  I thought my parents were joking when they told me that it takes thirty minutes to go to school but they were not! It's not about the traffic, it's because of how the school is hidden from the busy life of the New Yorkers.  "Is this still in Manhattan?" I asked CC. He glance at me through the mirror before answering.  "Yes, Miss. This is the most prestigious school in New York." Prestigious my a*s. I would love to go into some public university where I could just do what I wanted.  "Manhattan Academy for Elites, huh?"  "We're here, Miss."  The limo stopped in front of a building. The school is huge and I think it will cost me days to memorize the whole campus.  "Good luck on your first day, Miss Finn." I muttered a small thank you to him before stepping out of the car.  This is really a school for elites.  I nearly raised a brow when I saw that the floor was all carpeted. The tuition fee must cost a fortune! But of course it is! It's an Elite school afterall.  With no one to help me to where do I go, I approached the woman in the lobby. This woman better be friendly or else.  "Welcome to Manhattan Academy! Are you perhaps, Miss Mallory Gray?" She inquired. I nodded my head in response.  "Good day, Miss Mallory. So here's your locker number, your class schedule, a school's card and a map. Before directing to your first class, please go to the administation office to get your id picture done."  "Uh, can you accompany me to the admin office?" I asked in a nice way. She chuckled and  walk before me.  "Please follow me."  Our heels clicked on the second floor of the school. The floor wasn't carpeted anymore. Maybe it's just the lobby. I don't know.  Gladly, the trip to the admin office doesn't involve of talking to the principal himself. I suck in talking with them. The processing of the id is easy and I'm glad that I didn't look hideous on it. The lobby attendant whose name is Martha also taught me to use the MAE portal or the online program of the school. I also have an online account which she gladly informed me that when I misplaced my id or left it at home, I can use it because it has the scanning application and when it scans the barcode, it will automatically register you as present. It was like those of chinese honesty payment method that I have seen on tv.  "You have five subjects and two electives. You also need to join a club since it's a requirement here in MAE. I suggest that you should read the announcements of the club tryouts online or in the announcement board that we have." I thanked Martha as we stopped in a classroom.  This must be it.  "Good luck Miss Mallory."  "You can call me Finn, Miss Martha." I said and she smiled at me genuinely. "Finn, it is." She said before knocking on the door before us. Within a couple of seconds, it opened revealing a young man who I assumed is the Math teacher. He looks like he's only in his twenties!  "Good morning Mr. Bill. She's a transferee in this section. Have you been notified?" Miss Martha asked. Mr. Bill, however smiled coyly like he forget about the fact that there's a transferee in his class.  "Yes, I've been notified, Marthaline. Thank you for guiding her to her class." He smiled sweetly to the lobby attendant in which I had the hunch of what's going on.  "You date each other?" I can't help but to ask. They both stood there shocked of what I've just said. It must be true based from their reactions.  "I'm keeping my mouth shut if that's what you worry about. No biggie." I said while I'm putting up a straight face.  "Then let's proceed to the class, shall we?"  Nodded my head and bowed slightly to Miss Martha.  "Class! We have a transferee." The classroom doesn't look like a classroom at all. The floor was carpeted, and every student has their table individually. The chandelier shines so bright and it looks like a hotel room or something. There's a couch on the back of the classroom! So much for an elite school.  "Please introduce yourself."  "I'm Finn Gray, 16." I said softly and my blank stares deadly set on the classmates that I have. We're like, twenty students inside this room. The star section is only limited in number which means it only accepts twenty students. That's what I've read on an article online. How did I even get in here?  Oh, right. Connections.  "Is that your name? It sounds like a namja. You aren't gay, right?" The korean dude said and the students laughed at his statement.  "I think you need a real eyeglasses and not just some round specs for fashion. As you can see, I'm a yeoja, if you failed to see that then better see an optometrist." I said sweetly. "And yes, it's my name. Nickname actually but does it even matter? You yourself doesn't go around strangers saying your korean name. So next time, mind your own business. Arasso?" He gaped at me like I'm some sort of a wicked woman. But what he said next shocked me that it made my forehead crease.  "I'm in love."  I fought myself not to strangle him to death. How annoying! I faced Mr. Bill who seemed amused of the turnout of the event and asked I I can take my seat.  "Please take the vacant seat beside Wraith." He said while motioning me to go into that direction.  There is only one vacant seat left. And sadly, the seat in front of mine belongs to the korean dude.  I strutted my way to my seat without looking at my new classmates' faces. What have you done, Finn? You said you'll stay low key. So much trouble for all the planning I had in mind go down the drain.  "Can I ask you out on a date, Finn?" Korean dude asked as soon as I sat on my seat. I frowned at his childish ways. I can't believe this guy!  "Stop harassing Finn, Jeon Taehyung." The guy beside me said and I stilled in my seat as I heard his voice.  "Where's the fun in that, Wraith?" Taehyung said while flashing a grin. The Wraith guy, who was sleeping the moment I step inside the room, bore his eyes to mine.  The heavens heard my prayer!  "If you don't want to meet my fist then you'll stop harassing my friend, Tae."  He smiled and I gaped at him.  "I won't believe that she's your friend. You're not the friendly type of guy, Wraith." Taehyung said in confidence. "I can't believe I'll be attending the same school with you, Gavin." I said in shock. Taehyung, who was listening to us, dropped his mouth as if he heard something unexpected.  "Say what!?"  "See? I told you we're friends." Gavin said as he smiled smugly to Taehyung. The heavens heard my prayer.  Now, I need to do the end of my bargain with God. # end of chapter three Hello guys! Happy New Year! I wish you all the best hehe. Love lots!
